Elderberry, also known as Black Elderberry, is a genus of fruiting and deciduous shrubs commonly found in the Northern Hemisphere and has at least 30 different cultivars. Known as a popular antioxidant, the total ORAC value of blueberries is about 4,700 μmol TE/100g. Elderberry is around 14,700 μ mol TE/100g. Blackelderberry is an ideal food for those looking for high antioxidants.
